In an otherwise uneventful night at chez Cashmere Dreams,
I decided to give ol' Raspberry Tiger a wash. By the time it's 20 minute soak was over, the water looked like it housed something terribly disturbing-- a dead poodle, a severed limb, you get the horrific idea.
The water NEVER RAN CLEAR. Raspberry Tiger is resting on a burgundy sheet. I'm afraid to find out how albino it's state is tonight! Bad Mystical Creations Yarns. Bad!

Very bad! I hope that enough of the dye will stick to your fibers. That raspberry color was luscious! Grr.
ooh - that is some real bleeding there....hopefully it was just surface dye and the color won't change too much...
love the yawn sequence!
I know that all my socks knit from MCY have run like crazy. Does it help to add some vinegar to the rinse to fix the yarn? The before Clapotis shot was beautiful.
Oh Lordy! You know MCY offers a satisfaction guarantee...so if the color has bled away you should contact them.
BTW your pics of Toby and Paco are so amazing. Do you have high resolution pics? I can see this triptych blown up to at least 8x10 size, matted and framed. Think about it.
That's some scary water! Have you tried vinegar as mentioned by Guinifer?
I love the photo montage of Toby & Paco!
