Spice Market
For me, once complete these will be perfect fall socks. Claudia's color combination is great-- I just love it! The pattern is a simple eyelet rib from Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch -- Elongated Rib. I've started the second one, and am determined to finish it by the end of the month. I'm particullarly determined to finish them by Halloween as they are my 'official' Socks in the Cities KAL socks.

Now, the Chevron socks don't scream fall to me-- but they're delightful, too. The fit is fabulous, and I love the unexpected colorway. The Jaywalker pattern is great for verigated yarn-- but it's a very stiff pattern. The eylet rows from Welt Fantastic, another Sensational Knitted Socks pattern, was just the thing to make a well-fitting chevron sock.

Really love the Wollmeise. I'm sooo with you on the KP dpn's as well.
Hmm, two socks could still be considered a pair, just not a matched pair! Wollmeise cousins, I guess.
They both look great. Both colorways appeal to me in different ways. Agree about the Jaywalker pattern being sturdy/stiff; that's why I haven't yet knit the second one of that particular pair I started. There's a chevron pattern on elann that I'm planning to try. (Like you, I do have sock patterns in mind for particular sock yarn; hopefully they work the way I imagine they will!)
Fantabulous!
They certainly do look beautiful!
They are both lovely, but I especially love the Spice Market sock. Great colors - so fall-y.
oooh - those are both beautiful. the spice market really screams October!
Oh, they're both gorgeous!
They are both great socks, but I'm leaning toward the Spice Market socks as my favorite. Now that it's chilly outside, I'm feeling very autumnal.
