Whew! I wasn't due to start mamograms for about ten years, but I found an abnormality.
The tests weren't as horrible as I thought, but I am a bit sore.

Since I didn't have to wake up as early as usual, the morning light was perfect for photos of recent projects.
During the shop hop three weeks ago I couldn't resist a skein of Silver thaw (Noro) after a fellow attendee called the colorway (ahem) "gay". Well, I now have a beautiful and cheery reversable and double-thick hat to keep me warm while waiting for the morning bus this winter.
M, I'll wear this hat with pride!
Hrm. I'm thinking about giving it to her as a holiday gift... what do you think?

I don't know what Ms. M was talking about -- that's not what I would call that yarn! It's cool. Silver Thaw just went on sale at WEBS, so I was thinking of getting enough for a multidirectional scarf; may have to make that a scarf/hat set, I like yours.

Gee, that doorway is familiar. I was just there Tuesday for the yearly. Hopefully my report will be negative too and there won't be any surprises.

I'm so glad your test results were negative! That's definitely something to celebrate. It's unfortunate that your coworker did not have the same results - I hope her cancer is treatable and her prognosis is good.

Whew. That is good news. And for what it's worth, the first mammogram is the worst, because they do lots of extra xrays for a baseline.
