Oh, what a busy week.
I've been swamped at work, and have tackled organizational projects at home.
Fiber activities are almost at a dead stop. A touch of knitting, zero spinning. Tonight Cathy-Cate is coming up for a visit, and will be staying in my guest room. She might be running late due to occupational responsibilites, and I found myself writing in an email, "Oh, don't worry about us. We'll just play with squeeky toys and fiber until you get here."
I wonder, will she avoid the advances of uber-cuddler Paco or not? (Paco is the furry guy on the left). He does love to jump into bed with strangers...
Over the weekend, knitting will resume.
Look for a report early next week!

Oh, if you're a spinner-- I'm in the process of wheel shoping, and if you have any opinions I'd love to hear them. Any thoughts on a Reeves 'Wheel Frame' or Majacraft's 'the Rose'? I'm loving each of them, but there's no way in hades that I can swing a purchase of both.

I don't have either wheel (but several others).
What do you need in a wheel?
Portability? High drive ratios? Large bobbins?
two treadles? single treadle? what kind of tension.
If you were goign to be really organized - make up a matrix of what characteristics are important -
rate each of the wheels, then see which one overall meets your needs....
It also depends on what capability you have in the wheel that is currently in your house and whether or not that one will be sold to raise money or make space for the new one...
Too bad you are not local, because I am thinking of selling my Majacraft Rose. Gotta raise money for school. :)
Love the pic of your pups. They are so adorable.
The boys look so happy, soaking up the sun! I can't believe anyone can reject the advances of Paco - he's so sweet and cuddly!
adorable picture! : )
I'm not a spinner, but I am a dogg lover, and I am enjoying this photo of your cute dogs that look so cuddly and loving.
