Two Timin' Woman

Two socks does not a pair make.

Is it time to give up and join the Single Sock Liberation Movement?

Single sock syndrome, startitis-- call it what you will, but clearly I'm having problems here.

Heh-heh, today I'm working on the Lucy Bag--miles and miles of stockinette stitch. And since I make more socks than anything else, there was this eerie revelation that I wouldn't even have to make a matching piece to go with it!!! But still it seemed so strange, because I am used to doing two socks at a time on two sets of dpns and I kept thinking I was missing something. Good Grief!

So maybe your single sock liberation idea would be pretty freeing after all...

Well, the two that you have finished are absolutely lovely. I got a couple of inches done on one sock this weekend - and just finished sewing up my Arwen tonight.

They seriously took my breath away! (Good lord, what is wrong with me?) Too bad you can't wear both of them at the same time.

It's that sense of completion, even though it's only one sock. I always feel free to work on something else (or start something else) for a little bit between socks. Clears the palate.

Hehe, just join the single sock liberation movement if you want to. I'm pretty sure though that these won't stay as singles for so long. ;-)

OK, so 'fess up...how many actual "pairs" have you knit? I'm guessing <10. Heh.
