Recognize the pattern?
Gloves! I've never knit them, so I came to a natural conclusion: find a fingerless mitten pattern to modify-- you know, just for a bit of a challenge. I really had no idea what I was doing, but I think they're just fine. The first "crotch" between the pinkie and the ring finger is not-so-fabulous, but I figured out how to make the others come out o.k.

Did gloves once to prove I could (to myself, of course), but it'll be a while before I have any desire to do so again. Too fiddly with all those fingers. Talk about second sock syndrome -- how about 7th finger syndrome! (This IS where short DPNs do have an advantage over two circs, I have to say, even as a diehard 2 circ fan.) But it should go faster in Fetching-weight yarn, anyway.

Does the Fetching pattern happen to work out so that there are just the right number of ribbed sections to separate into fingers? (I've made so many pair of these, I should know!)
