Lizard Ridge

Certainly my largest finished project to date.
February 2007 to July 2007.
Knit with approx. 4,000 yards of worsted weight yarn.
Noro Kureyon and Knit Picks Wool of the Andes.
Modifications: Added six squares and used a mitered garter stitch border a-la Mason Dixon.

It'll be on display at the Minnesota State Fair in a few weeks.

Ooooh! We are planning to come up to the Cities Labor Day weekend (it's become a birthday ritual for our 2 Labor Day-ish B-day people to go to the Renaissance Festival) and I was already considering leaning on my family to go to The Fair -- we used to go all the time. Now I have another reason -- to see this lovely work in person! I'll have to send everyone else off to the Haunted House or the Roller Coaster or something else that I have absolutely no desire to do, and just go look at knitting. Ahh.

Puppy's going to be sad when you take away that pretty snuggly.

It is just breathtaking! Though now I think I've decided not to make one since mine will never look as great as yours!

Fabulous! I'll look for it at the Fair, the Creative Activities building is one of my favorite attractions.

It is gorgeous indeed! It took my breath away, almost literally, when Deb pulled it out of her bag the other night.
