Dreary mid-winter days
So yes, the January UFO was finished last night. Sorry about the poor lighting, it's dark and cold in Minnesota these days.
Oh, but what's this? February's UFO, perhaps?
It's Patrick by Black Purl. The designer is from Wisconson, so we're nearly neighbors. I started the sweater *ahem* last February, and messed up on the shoulder shaping-- so set it aside. Neither sleeve has been knit, either. So, there's a bit of ripping and a good deal of knitting left. It's the largest size... I didn't measure the intended giftee (a 6'3" man), and really wish I did. He doesn't have a 53" chest, and I kept thinking, "It's ribbing. It'll fit". Oh, it will-- but measuring would have saved a great deal of time. (It's 42" unblocked) The yarn is a machine washable, organic wool- Cestari.

Your sock is beautiful! So bright and cheery! I've decided I hate knitting with ones - they hurt my hands - I just ripped a sock and cast it back onto a 2.
That sweater has some mind-boggling cables!
Oooh, I LOVE that sweater! I wonder if my husband would be interested in it. Have you been to Black Purl before? It's a nice little shop and if you're ever in downtown Wausau you should definitely check it out.
The sock is so bright and pretty! And the amaryllis, wow! I wish I'd thought to get one this year.
I love how the bittersweet colorway looks, I never would've thought to buy some if I saw it on the skein. Cool! :)
Yay! Good choice for the Feb. UFO. I'm going to be so excited to see it finished - I'm sure Eric wishes he had it already this weekend.
