Opinions, please

You spoke, and your voices were heard. Kauni EZ and EL combination, not a fabulous choice for the project.

Here's the sweater again.
How about ES and EL?

Workable, or should I just give up and start dreaming about Harrisville Shetland?

I think this combo would work. And you should get EQ too, just to play with!

I know, I'm enabling. Sauce for the gander, and all that. ;)

As beautiful as those colors are, you may be setting yourself up for a lot of frustration combining variegated yarn on such a complex design. I would make sure that the two colorways don't have any hue in common or it'll be impossible to distinguish which strand is which when you are working the thin lines of the chart. That said, they are gorgeous colors and if you do go ahead with them, I'm sure the sweater will be sensational.

I say it works. You should have a good light on your work when you are knitting though...I think the finished project will be spectular!

Wow, that's more complicated knitting than I've ever done...looks like it would be spectacular whichever yarn you use.

That sweater looks like a Lifetime Knitting Achievement award candidate. : )

hmmmm - I'm not sure how a variegated will work on such a complex pattern - I'd say a huge swatch is in order!
